Dogs Currently Looking for New Homes

Below are some of the dogs which our regional groups are trying to rehome. Please refer to our rehoming process if you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, where you can complete an enquiry form which will be sent to the relevant regional group.

Please note that this is just a selection of Staffies that are available for rehoming. Our groups will endeavour to keep this information up to date, but please contact the group directly or visit their website for more current information. You can use our filter below to narrow the list of dogs shown in order to match the sort of dog you are looking for. Even though you may not see a dog which matches your personal circumstances amongst those listed below, it is still possible that we have a suitable dog available for rehoming. Alternatively, please complete our enquiry form and you will be contacted when a suitable dog becomes available.




Lenny
He is another good looker, with white blaze, collar, feet and tail tip. has had a few homes, the last one 5 years, taken from mum. This time his owner has problems, too many kids, and another in the bin. well behaved, but a bit upset now , is settling after 3 days with us, is neutered,and chipped.Is hard on the lead, but is listening to us.

Charlie
Originally dumped as a six month old puppy with severe mange. After treatment and a lot of TLC he was re-homed. Recently his adopter was admitted to hospital and could no longer look after him. He is a very lively boy, good with children. Needs a firm hand. Approx. two years old, is neutered and microchipped.

Piglet
We had to call her Piglet as she really does look like a little pig! She was a stray. She has a lovely temperament, appears good with other dogs. Boisterous, especially outside, can be calmer in the house, needs some lead training, seems used to traffic but not country walks. Clean in the home. Strong hunting instinct so not cats. She has a very endearing habit of hiding her dog biscuits instead of eating them, she hasn't realised yet the other dogs might find them first! A real cutie, needs some input.

Kastro and Pasha
Kastro and Pasha currently live together and need to be rehomed as their owner is moving into accomodation where the dogs are not allowed. They are brother and sister 18 months old DOB 31st Aug 08. Kastro is red and white, a very chunky boy with a laid back temperament. strong on lead ok to go off lead good in house. Pasha female spayed dark brindle good on lead ok off lead good recall They live with an eight month old baby who, Kastro especially, adores. They have always lived together and owner would prefer them to stay together.

Sapphire
Sapphire was owned by a girl working with horses who had owned her since she was approx 8 months old. Her accommodation was dependent on her job and sadly she lost both and sadly has had to give up both her dogs. Sapphire can be boisterous but settles quickly in the home. She is used to horses, clean in the house, good on the lead, ok with cats and has lived with another dog, although she is not good with strange dogs. She likes the car and being with you though she can be left for short times. She is ball obsessed, and possessive over her toys with other dogs.She is good with people including children but due to her boisterousness and ball obsession she would be better in an adult home or with children over twelve. An ideal home would be with a farrier or farmer, she misses the one to one relationship she had with her previous owner.

TESSY
4 yr old red pied bitch Innoculated and Chipped but not Spayed. Lives with children and is very good with them. Normally OK with other dogs and has been living with a male but they are no longer getting along. Usual issue dispute over a bone.

DEMS
6 year old mahogany brindle big chunky male. Castrated and microchipped. Currently lives with a bitch and small children but finds the children too noisy so a home is required where there are calm older children or no children at all so he can live a calm gentleman's life.

Bullitt
5 year old black brindle KC registered male. This boy is a total all rounder having lived with children, dogs and cats. A lovely placid boy that has no vices at all.

BUSTER
Buster is a lovely affable fellow, very friendly and is ok with other dogs.He was given away by his owner . He is nine years young, is alright to be left,Please contact Audrey-North East Rescue

BULLET
5 year old black bitch-great with children, Not good with other dogs. Great in the house, non destructive. Needs some training with lead walking and around other dogs.

UNA
Approximately 5 year old standard size brindle bitch Microchipped and owner going to get her spayed She has a small cherry eye in her right eye but it has been checked and is not a problem as it has always been the same Has always lived as the only pet in the house but is OK walking with other dogs as long as they are not too excited around her A lovely friendly girl looking for a home with either older children or no children as has not lived with them previously but has no vices Very waggy tailed and not overly demanding.
